I thought the Tea Parties were positively Jacksonian in nature, scope, focus and attendance!

Micheal Barone has written about Andrew Jackson, the first Democrat, in terms of a swath populated by what he refers to as 'Jacksonian Democrats'. Primarily regional from SW PA down to AR, but also includes a nationalist bent (i.e. pro-American). Scots-Irish. Salt-of-the-earth. Warriors. Where are today's Jacksonian Demorats? Hello?
