Ben Nelson's deals is for Dems ONLY?

I will start looking into it, but I read somewhere on the web that Ben Nelson's special carve out for Medicare Advantage was just for 3 Dem-heavy counties in Florida. Could that actually be f'n true? Could the State's Senator have actually set up a special deal just for party-heavy counties? Could that actually be f'n true? Could that actually be f'n true? Could that actually be f'n true?

Funny web comments on the Brown race

I rarely read comments for on-line articles, but I have been for the MA election. It is truly astounding how comments run pro-Brown even at sites likes Boston.com and Politico and thehill.com. When I last looked a few years ago, comments at those site were unhinged Bushitler crap so it is quite a change. I did find some gems I'd like to share.

As the great Jules Crittenden says, some of the comments might be considered hurtful.

Democrats. A sense of entitlement. They do not serve us. They are royalty. And they certainly don't have to demean themselves to converse with the unwashed masses. If left up to them, elections would not exist, and we would have a "green job".... pulling their rickshaws. Ouch!
******
Vice President Joe Biden mentioned today that he ran into his good friend from Katie's diner, wheelchair Chuck, at Home Depot today, and they were discussing what a shame it was that Curt Schilling was a Yankees Fan, instead of the team he played for, the Boston Braves.
That has gotta hurt!

One thing for sure, if Martha wins, no southern or Appalachian state that are the unfortunate and unfounded recipients of jokes regarding their citizen intelligence, will ever have to hear those jokes again. Massachusetts will deservedly take their place.
Painful as a Tyson bite.

She should have run for the seat in the 57th state
More hurt. What does that mean? /sarc

A fine viral video.

It makes perfect sense that the pivotal moment for the Tea Party movement would occur in Boston. It is beautiful historical symmetry. If Brown wins, Boston Harbor re-affirms its status as a national symbol for the latest struggle to shake off tyranny in our own time.
Is he clinging to a bible and guns? He might be very hurtful.

Hail fellow Patriots. Well met.
The Chicago Machine is coming! The Chicago Machine is coming! Don\'t vote until you see the White House in their eyes! The Red Coakley\'s are coming! The Red Coakley\'s are coming! Be prepared to drop your plows mid-furrow January 19! Vote for the Scott heard \'round the world! No reform without representation!
Yowza! How could they say that about the Obamacrocy? Fervor can be hurtful.

Posting is tough

I am such a consumer of information, it makes it tough to get it all together and, you know, post!

Well, what is happening up in Kennedyville is truly amazing. Spectacularly awesome and awesomely spectacular.

And now Obambi is visiting?? He thinks he is still a game-changer?

What a mistake as Coakley is toast!

I will try and actually, you know, post on this. Who knows, I might even get some linky-love from someone important (i.e. someone with any hits!)

CIA turns on Obambi

Uh-hoh. If they CIA turns on you, the leaks will never stop, right, Dubya?

Superbikes and Sportbikes

If you look at my profile, you will see a picture of some sport motorcylces and I also mention it. My primary pleasure is riding my motorcycles in the Texas Hill Country. There is nothing more exhilarating than going around a corner and almost dragging your knee on the ground at 3 times the speed limit, or accelerating at prodigious rates. Almost no autos can come even close to the performance levels of modern Sportbikes. Best of all, I get 35MPG at 150MPH!

WTF is with Vermont?

How did the brave Green Mountain Boys transition into a far-left Leahy and Socialist Sanders?

Barbara Boxer (D-Ma'am)

I sure hope the good people of California retire this tool in 2010.

John F. Kennedy (D-USA)

A real Democrat. A manly Democrat. A brave Democrat. A warrior Democrat. A capitalist Democrat. Where are the modern day JFKs? Bueller? Hello?

Tea Parties

I thought the Tea Parties were positively Jacksonian in nature, scope, focus and attendance!

Jacksonian Democrats

Micheal Barone has written about Andrew Jackson, the first Democrat, in terms of a swath populated by what he refers to as 'Jacksonian Democrats'. Primarily regional from SW PA down to AR, but also includes a nationalist bent (i.e. pro-American). Scots-Irish. Salt-of-the-earth. Warriors. Where are today's Jacksonian Demorats? Hello?

Michael Barone

Micheal Barone was the Senior Political Analyst for US News for decades. He is widely considered one of the best voting prognosticators out there. I understand that he has actually visited every one of 435 Congressional Districts. I have learned to ALWAYS listen to him. The man knows US politics.

Could MA have a 'R' Senator?

With Dems being unable to proffer a Kennedy, the MA Senate seat might *possibly* move. Long shot, but we can hope. The Pub is named Scott Brown and is a common-sense man. Scott is facing Martha Coakley, a typical Dem hack. There are some reasons for hope, but it is a slim hope. I encourage you to support Scott in his effort.

Democrat leadership doesn't care if you die

Union-managed Healthcare for us (Private for them).
ACLU- and CAIR-devised security measures.
Lawyers for terrorists.
PC/ACLU lawfare control of our security.
A complete lack of any testicular fortitude (Hill has it, but it only against Pubs!).

Rantburg by Fred (GWOT)

Rantburg was and is one of my main sources for information on the GWOT. A good place to find articles and some good commentary.

Robert Stacy McCain (RSM)

I have really enjoyed his drive, effort, reporting and commentary. Keep it up, Sir!

Doug Ross @ Journal (Director Blue)

Doug has excellent long posts and some good unique reporting. Plus, loads of snark!

Don Surber

Don is a columist, blogger and conservative. I found him at Instapundit. Another always-check blog.

Jim Dunnigan and Austin Bay's Strategy page

Jim and Austin's site is an excellent source on the military, security and intelligence worldwide.

Michelle Malkin

I have enjoyed MM's biting words ("snort-worth" and such, LOL) and her take-no-prisoners approach. Plus, I almost always agree with her, except I am not pro-Pub as much as anti-Dem and anti-left.

Bill Roggio's Long War Journal is the go-to source for GWOT info

If you want good detailed information on the most important events in the GWOT, go to LWJ. Don't forget Bill is supported by tips so hit his tipjar!

Gateway Pundit Jim Hoft (GP)

Jim came on the scene and made a big splash. An unabashed christian conservative, Jim is an energetic and forceful voice that is another daily read for me.

Ace of Spades HQ

As a proud AoSHQ mo-ron, I highly recommend this blog for good insights into the VRWC and anto-jihad. Plus, super-snark!

Hot Air

Hotair is run by Michelle Malkin with bloggers Ed Morrisset and ALlahpundit. This is my fist and most comment site visited. They have a headline sections, expanded commentary by Ed and Allah, and the Green Room for posts by others.

Instapundit is awesome!

Glenn Harlan Reynolds is the Instatundit. He is also a law professor at UTenn. Glenn covers a wide range of topic in short and often snark posts. Another site I visit many times per day.

The decline of LGF

Little Green Footballs was one of my earliest blogs, and I was going there many times per day. I loved the way Charles went after Jihadis and the hypocricy of the pro-Jihadi left.

Then he went after Pamela Geller as some kind of fascist in a real 360-degrees bit with anti-Jihadis Euros. Then he went after 'creationism' (I tend to be Darwinian in many ways), and then anyone on the right, but I stopped going there after his smear campaigns against Pamela. I also noticed many of my favorite blogs were de-listing them and his 'campaigns' went very public at places like AoSHQ, Powerline which I respect immensely.

As if the prove my point, Sully endorses LGF now! LOL!

Politico is a water-carryer

Politico is a recent MSM-type website based out of DC. Many of the writers came out of the MSM and WaPo. I have noticed they are very comfy passing on whatever talking points the DNC and Obamanauts offer. Consider it a charter member of the DMC.

Chris Dodd, Corruptocrat

Morgages from a firm he oversaw, funny pardon assistance, funny Irish cottage, big finding from Fann/Freddie which he oversaw, big money from Finance companies with business in front of his committee. Fraud. Grifter. Corruptocrat.

To the good people of CT: please retire Dodd!

Al Franken (D-ACORN)

With the questionable activities of ACORN in MN, Franken's close relation and am extremely close vote, it is reasonable to say that ACORN owns Franken.

Nancy Pelosi (D-Moonbattia)

Nancy is one of the stupidest, vilest Dems out there. When she loses the house, I hope the Dems supplant her as minority leader. Buh-bye Speaker Pelosi!

Harry Reid (D-Casinos/Labor)

Tool. Loser. Corruptocrat. Hypocrite. Buh-bye!

Nationalize the 2010 elections

The Pubs need to nationalize every Congressional election. Put the face of Pelosi, Rangel and Obambi on every Dem candidate. Point out how any vote for a Dem is a vote for their elected Speaker, Pelosi. Point out the risk of a one-party state. point out how far-left the Dems have become.

The Dems who are disgusted with the far-left in the part need to work to take back the party from the fringe.

Sarah Palin (SP)

When McCain selected, I wa shocked and very pleased. I had looked into her earlier and found her to be impressive and worthy. Her efforts against corruption were amazing. Her evident morality and belief was very positive. Her work against the oil companies helped the people.

I support her and would probably in 2012 should she decide to run for President.

Corruptocrats, Clinton edition

I read that the husband of the sitting SOS got from $10-25M from Norway and Soddiland. I am sure they just wanted advice on the 'Clinton Rule'.

Troothers

I can't for the life of me understand how these folks can ever arrive at their received wisdom. Did they not watch the TV on 9/11 or after? Did they not read about the perpetuators and OBL taking credit? What is wrong with these people?

Note: At one point in the reign of Dubya a plurality of self-identified Dems were at least partly troothers.

Birthers

I have observed the 'controversy' about Obambi's provenance and I want to offer my thoughts here.

I found it highly unusual how Obambi was allowed to just fill in his resume as he wanted it shown and the complete lack of investigation by the media into him. No college transcripts, no job or client history, no medical history. And, limited birth information. With his history, reasonable people can question him and wonder what the true story is. When Obambi refuses to allow his complete and original birth certificate, naturally it leads to questions as to why. Is there something to hide? if not, why not release it?

For what it's worth, I think Obambi was born in Hawaii. I think what he is hiding is that his name was legally changed and he legally became an Indonesian as 'Barry Soetoro'. Further, I do not view this as a barrier as he status was determined by others when he was a minor. What else is there to hide?

Are current DoJ lawyers former GITMO defense attorneys?

We know that the law firm AG Holder worked for provided many attorneys for GITMO inmates, focusing on Yemeni detainees who were (and are) numerous Jihadis. We also know that many members of his law firm went to DoJ. My question is: Are any of those new DoJ attorneys also the former attorneys for Yemenis now facing the DoJ? If so, wht conflicts arise? It seems to me that former defense attorneys should now be deciding whether to proceed with legal actions against their former GITMO clients.

I believe I saw this issue raised by Thomas Joscelyn at the Weekly Standard blog.

'Best of the Web' from the WSJ's Taranto

James Taranto does a daily recap of some of the madcap web posts. Janes is well-read and full of luscious snark and merriment.

Name "Big" Dick Cheney as Anti-Jihad Czar

Who better to tighten Jihadi and Twelver sphincters than Big Dick? Name him as the Plenipotentiary for Jihad reduction activites and provide complete authority to take any action he so desires. Someone in the current Admin needs to have balls and it seems Michelle has Obambi's under lock-and-key.

Althouse spanks NYT!

I generally enjoy Ann's posts and found a good one here. She has such snark!

"I'm just noticing this NYT editorial from New Year's Day. It's not bad generally, but I just don't get the "absurdly." What's absurd about accusing Obama of being weak on national security?

I used to subscribe to the NYT and read it for at least an hour a day, paging through the whole thing. Now, I'm spending more and more time looking for opinion about American politics in the British papers. For example, the UK Telegraph has "Barack Obama is vulnerable on terror – and he knows it."

So, weakness on national security: too absurd to mention or something Obama knows all too well?"

Heh

Napolitano endorses the unregulated militia!

Thanks for Jennifer Rubin for this little catch: "Janet Napolitano tells Maureen Dowd that you need to do your job:

I think we do a disservice if we tell people there are 100 percent guarantees. I think we tell them we’re doing everything we can to reduce risk. I think we tell people that they are also part of the system. I mean, the passengers on this plane were a line of defense, the flight crew were a line of defense. So everybody has a shared responsibility here. You can’t just say, well, this government department or that government department’s got the whole shebang."

Thanks Janet for endorsing the Constituional unregulated militia. We, the able-bodied and armed American citizens stand ready to protect ourselves and our fellow Americans. We will be watching.

York: Holder made call on Undiebomber

Byron York, one of the best reporters out there, points out the AG Eric Holder (D-Gitmo, ACLU) made the call to have the DoJ handle this---leading right to the Undiebomber lawyering up before we find out about the other undiebombers. Asshat Brennan (Cheney's future bitch) said" Just because somebody is going to be put into the criminal legal process doesn't mean we don't have other opportunities to get information from him". I ask you, do you think we would get more information out of him via the Cheney method or the ACLU method?

Obamacare is Unconstitutional (Duh!)

An article in The Hill points out the obvious: There are strong constitutional issues with Obamacare. "Hatch: Healthcare bill 'rich' for challenges on constitutionality"
What I can't figure out is how anyone who calls themselves a 'liberal' can support this PoS! Where is the support for the individual and freedom?

Kristol Krushes Obambi on Security

Caught this @ Newsbusters by Mark: "as to Brennan's claim that there was no "smoking gun" regarding Abdul Mutallab: "He is the smoking gun," going on to detail all the red flags surrounding him. "Frankly, for Mr. Brennan to say, well, no smoking gun, that itself shows a kind of not-serious-about-the-war mentality."The Weekly Standard editor wasn't through . . .
  • "Closing the embassy in Yemen last night? No one wants State Department officials put at risk, but that is a sign of weakness. Closing the embassy? We can't protect our own embassy in Yemen, a place where we have special operations forces. A place we say we're working with the government on the front lines of the war on terror? And there's a terror threat, and we close the embassy?"
Nice catch, Mark!

Dems will get more American murdered by Jihadis.

Selena Zito notices the Surrendercrats!

Selena points out just how inept our current Dem leadership is. "A complete failure when it comes to a commander-in-chief’s most important job: Protecting Americans from harm." "It all contributed to an impression of an administration unprepared to deal with a security threat or a real crisis"

How many Americans will die because of the misguided extreme-left nature of the government we have (NOT the one we were promised pre-election by the DMC. You know, the one where Obambi=Reagan?) Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves better? Take the House and Senate in 2010 and send Obambi home in 2012.

New poll shows "D" label is less popular. Wonder why?

Rasmussen, the most accurate polling organizations shows a HUGE drop in the number of Dems. "Number of Democrats Falls to New Low, Down Six Points Since Election 2008" Why would people run away from the Dems now? Could it be because they now can see the duplicitous, unserious nature of the current Dem leadership? That they now wonder if Dems would rather please the ACLU and CAIR than protect the American people? Ayup.

WAPO pumps up Obambi as tough: Soft on terror? Not this president

As usual, the editors go to bat for the Won! Obambi is so awesomely awesome when it comes to protecting our nation! And those eevil Pubs are just trying to make it political! No need to consider if the Pubs are, you know, correct. We can't look at the substance, we can only turn it into another issue that is political! Another fine example from the Democrat-Media Complex (DMC) of how easy it is to coordinate your output with the Obamanauts. PS: How heavy is the water you constantly carry for the Dems? Are hernias covered by Obamacare?

"Mr. Obama's actions -- often at the cost of enraging his party's liberal base -- have also demonstrated tenacity and pragmatism blended with a necessary reassessment of the flawed policies of his predecessors and a recommitment to the rule of law." Why would his liberal base not want to protect the nation from attack? Why is the 'rule of law' a recomitment? DUH!

Obambi is skeered!

As the local paper points out, Obambi is staying close to Manly Marines.

And the reasons are probably as much security-conscious as symbolic for a wartime commander in chief from the Democratic Party.

"The military tends to be more right wing, conservative leaning, and there's a bias when you have a Democratic, liberal president," said Michael Naho'opi'i, who graduated from the Naval Academy in 1986, retired as a lieutenant commander and is now executive director of the Kahoolawe Island Reserve Commission. "A lot of it has to do with security. But it does show that he supports the troops."

Yeah, Obambi is skeered and the supports the troops when they are protecting him. Otherwise, not so much.

Giving "Big" Dick Cheney a new opening!

Politico headline: Brennan: Cheney may be 'ignorant' of terror facts
How soon before Cheney fires off a response to this idiocy? Seriously, LOL. I mean questioning him on his anti-terrorism cred? As the great Jim Geraghty said 12/30/09 in this post: Ah Yes, That Dainty, Sensitive, Dovish Dick Cheney We've Heard So Much About
"
Just to clarify, this is the same former vice president who we were told was Darth Vader, ruthless and cruel, obsessed with terrorism, draconian and lacking in perspective, stopping at nothing to find anyone who could be even remotely connected to al-Qaeda and using excruciatingly painful forms of interrogation that leave decent souls traumatized and Jack Bauer wincing.

And now we're supposed to believe he's insufficiently interested in condemning the attackers? He's beyond condemning him; he wants to waterboard him until his lungs qualify for a federal wetlands status."

Yeah, Obambi, good call for an attack line!
