Ben Nelson's deals is for Dems ONLY?
I will start looking into it, but I read somewhere on the web that Ben Nelson's special carve out for Medicare Advantage was just for 3 Dem-heavy counties in Florida. Could that actually be f'n true? Could the State's Senator have actually set up a special deal just for party-heavy counties? Could that actually be f'n true? Could that actually be f'n true? Could that actually be f'n true?
Funny web comments on the Brown race
I rarely read comments for on-line articles, but I have been for the MA election. It is truly astounding how comments run pro-Brown even at sites likes Boston.com and Politico and thehill.com. When I last looked a few years ago, comments at those site were unhinged Bushitler crap so it is quite a change. I did find some gems I'd like to share.
As the great Jules Crittenden says, some of the comments might be considered hurtful.

Democrats. A sense of entitlement. They do not serve us. They are royalty. And they certainly don't have to demean themselves to converse with the unwashed masses. If left up to them, elections would not exist, and we would have a "green job".... pulling their rickshaws. Ouch!

Vice President Joe Biden mentioned today that he ran into his good friend from Katie's diner, wheelchair Chuck, at Home Depot today, and they were discussing what a shame it was that Curt Schilling was a Yankees Fan, instead of the team he played for, the Boston Braves.
That has gotta hurt!

One thing for sure, if Martha wins, no southern or Appalachian state that are the unfortunate and unfounded recipients of jokes regarding their citizen intelligence, will ever have to hear those jokes again. Massachusetts will deservedly take their place.
Painful as a Tyson bite.

She should have run for the seat in the 57th state
More hurt. What does that mean? /sarc

It makes perfect sense that the pivotal moment for the Tea Party movement would occur in Boston. It is beautiful historical symmetry. If Brown wins, Boston Harbor re-affirms its status as a national symbol for the latest struggle to shake off tyranny in our own time.
Is he clinging to a bible and guns? He might be very hurtful.

Hail fellow Patriots. Well met.
The Chicago Machine is coming! The Chicago Machine is coming! Don\'t vote until you see the White House in their eyes! The Red Coakley\'s are coming! The Red Coakley\'s are coming! Be prepared to drop your plows mid-furrow January 19! Vote for the Scott heard \'round the world! No reform without representation!
Yowza! How could they say that about the Obamacrocy? Fervor can be hurtful.

Posting is tough
I am such a consumer of information, it makes it tough to get it all together and, you know, post!
Well, what is happening up in Kennedyville is truly amazing. Spectacularly awesome and awesomely spectacular.
And now Obambi is visiting?? He thinks he is still a game-changer?
What a mistake as Coakley is toast!
I will try and actually, you know, post on this. Who knows, I might even get some linky-love from someone important (i.e. someone with any hits!)

Superbikes and Sportbikes
If you look at my profile, you will see a picture of some sport motorcylces and I also mention it. My primary pleasure is riding my motorcycles in the Texas Hill Country. There is nothing more exhilarating than going around a corner and almost dragging your knee on the ground at 3 times the speed limit, or accelerating at prodigious rates. Almost no autos can come even close to the performance levels of modern Sportbikes. Best of all, I get 35MPG at 150MPH!
WTF is with Vermont?
How did the brave Green Mountain Boys transition into a far-left Leahy and Socialist Sanders?
John F. Kennedy (D-USA)
A real Democrat. A manly Democrat. A brave Democrat. A warrior Democrat. A capitalist Democrat. Where are the modern day JFKs? Bueller? Hello?
Tea Parties
I thought the Tea Parties were positively Jacksonian in nature, scope, focus and attendance!
Jacksonian Democrats
Micheal Barone has written about Andrew Jackson, the first Democrat, in terms of a swath populated by what he refers to as 'Jacksonian Democrats'. Primarily regional from SW PA down to AR, but also includes a nationalist bent (i.e. pro-American). Scots-Irish. Salt-of-the-earth. Warriors. Where are today's Jacksonian Demorats? Hello?
Michael Barone
Micheal Barone was the Senior Political Analyst for US News for decades. He is widely considered one of the best voting prognosticators out there. I understand that he has actually visited every one of 435 Congressional Districts. I have learned to ALWAYS listen to him. The man knows US politics.
Could MA have a 'R' Senator?
With Dems being unable to proffer a Kennedy, the MA Senate seat might *possibly* move. Long shot, but we can hope. The Pub is named Scott Brown and is a common-sense man. Scott is facing Martha Coakley, a typical Dem hack. There are some reasons for hope, but it is a slim hope. I encourage you to support Scott in his effort.
Democrat leadership doesn't care if you die
Union-managed Healthcare for us (Private for them).
ACLU- and CAIR-devised security measures.
Lawyers for terrorists.
PC/ACLU lawfare control of our security.
A complete lack of any testicular fortitude (Hill has it, but it only against Pubs!).

Rantburg by Fred (GWOT)
Rantburg was and is one of my main sources for information on the GWOT. A good place to find articles and some good commentary.
Robert Stacy McCain (RSM)
I have really enjoyed his drive, effort, reporting and commentary. Keep it up, Sir!
Doug Ross @ Journal (Director Blue)
Doug has excellent long posts and some good unique reporting. Plus, loads of snark!
Don Surber
Don is a columist, blogger and conservative. I found him at Instapundit. Another always-check blog.
Jim Dunnigan and Austin Bay's Strategy page
Jim and Austin's site is an excellent source on the military, security and intelligence worldwide.
Michelle Malkin
I have enjoyed MM's biting words ("snort-worth" and such, LOL) and her take-no-prisoners approach. Plus, I almost always agree with her, except I am not pro-Pub as much as anti-Dem and anti-left.
Bill Roggio's Long War Journal is the go-to source for GWOT info
If you want good detailed information on the most important events in the GWOT, go to LWJ. Don't forget Bill is supported by tips so hit his tipjar!
