I have observed the 'controversy' about Obambi's provenance and I want to offer my thoughts here.

I found it highly unusual how Obambi was allowed to just fill in his resume as he wanted it shown and the complete lack of investigation by the media into him. No college transcripts, no job or client history, no medical history. And, limited birth information. With his history, reasonable people can question him and wonder what the true story is. When Obambi refuses to allow his complete and original birth certificate, naturally it leads to questions as to why. Is there something to hide? if not, why not release it?

For what it's worth, I think Obambi was born in Hawaii. I think what he is hiding is that his name was legally changed and he legally became an Indonesian as 'Barry Soetoro'. Further, I do not view this as a barrier as he status was determined by others when he was a minor. What else is there to hide?

Are current DoJ lawyers former GITMO defense attorneys?

We know that the law firm AG Holder worked for provided many attorneys for GITMO inmates, focusing on Yemeni detainees who were (and are) numerous Jihadis. We also know that many members of his law firm went to DoJ. My question is: Are any of those new DoJ attorneys also the former attorneys for Yemenis now facing the DoJ? If so, wht conflicts arise? It seems to me that former defense attorneys should now be deciding whether to proceed with legal actions against their former GITMO clients.

I believe I saw this issue raised by Thomas Joscelyn at the Weekly Standard blog.

Name "Big" Dick Cheney as Anti-Jihad Czar

Who better to tighten Jihadi and Twelver sphincters than Big Dick? Name him as the Plenipotentiary for Jihad reduction activites and provide complete authority to take any action he so desires. Someone in the current Admin needs to have balls and it seems Michelle has Obambi's under lock-and-key.

I generally enjoy Ann's posts and found a good one here. She has such snark!

"I'm just noticing this NYT editorial from New Year's Day. It's not bad generally, but I just don't get the "absurdly." What's absurd about accusing Obama of being weak on national security?

I used to subscribe to the NYT and read it for at least an hour a day, paging through the whole thing. Now, I'm spending more and more time looking for opinion about American politics in the British papers. For example, the UK Telegraph has "Barack Obama is vulnerable on terror – and he knows it."

So, weakness on national security: too absurd to mention or something Obama knows all too well?"

Napolitano endorses the unregulated militia!

I think we do a disservice if we tell people there are 100 percent guarantees. I think we tell them we’re doing everything we can to reduce risk. I think we tell people that they are also part of the system. I mean, the passengers on this plane were a line of defense, the flight crew were a line of defense. So everybody has a shared responsibility here. You can’t just say, well, this government department or that government department’s got the whole shebang."

Thanks Janet for endorsing the Constituional unregulated militia. We, the able-bodied and armed American citizens stand ready to protect ourselves and our fellow Americans. We will be watching.

York: Holder made call on Undiebomber

Byron York, one of the best reporters out there, points out the AG Eric Holder (D-Gitmo, ACLU) made the call to have the DoJ handle this---leading right to the Undiebomber lawyering up before we find out about the other undiebombers. Asshat Brennan (Cheney's future bitch) said" Just because somebody is going to be put into the criminal legal process doesn't mean we don't have other opportunities to get information from him". I ask you, do you think we would get more information out of him via the Cheney method or the ACLU method?
